Chipie
Chipie is a French teenage fashion brand founded in 1971 by Jean-Michel Signoles. The story of the brand begins in in the South France, near the famous city of Carcassonne, in December 16, 1967. Young Jean-Michel Signoles (only 17) created the brand Chipie. Initially it included second-hand clothes imported from the United States, before opening his first workshop four years later. From the beginning of the 1970's, Chipie brand began to affirm itself in the world of jeans and youthful clothing. The Chipie jeans label became well-known and appreciated. In 1979, the line of clothes for kids was launched under the name of Chipie Junior. In 1985, the brand launched collection of “papaterie”, followed by shoe line in 1989. Chipie collection also includes watches, luggage, glasses, pens and leather goods. The first Chipie fragrance was launched in 1995 under the license of Coty France. Designer Chipie has 7 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1995 and the newest is from 1998.
