"Gather Perfume is a 100% natural perfume house in Western Massachusetts USA. It’s owned and operated solely by natural perfumer Ananda Wilson. Ananda is a second generation herbalist, forager, writer, weightlifter, mom, wife, product formulator, and former dancer and choreographer. Ananda began formulating botanical perfume blends as a young teenager, as she was obsessed with smell and plant potions from a young age, collecting scented products, making scented candles, and always reading all the ingredient labels of products. Having been raised with Ayurveda and aromatherapy, working with aromatic healing plants was a lifestyle from the start. Ananda and her mother began Blissful Botanicals in 1996, which retailed in stores across New England. Blissful Botanicals was handed to her mother Lucy in 2003. In 2005 she began her second business Amrita Aromatics focusing on more complex perfumery and “pleasure medicine”. In 2017 Amrita was rebranded, becoming Gather perfume. Ananda’s repertoire includes over 80 perfumes sold to the public since 2010. Ananda works exclusively with natural materials carefully sourced from around the world, along with utilizing her handcrafted botanical extracts, infusions, and tinctures in most of her works. Inspired by nature, art and the human experience, Ananda’s perfumery revolves around the cycles of emotion to olfaction back to emotion, an evolving story of scent."- a note from the brand. Gather Perfume is a new fragrance brand. Designer Gather Perfume has 11 perfumes in our fragrance base all launched in 2015. The nose who worked on the fragrances is Ananda Wilson.
