"Latherati fragrances are inspired by classic literature; stories captured in scent.  Paying homage to the great classics, my fragrance blends are interpretations of strong characters or unforgettable settings that transport you to the moors of Emily Bronte’s Wuthering Heights or the Isle of Skye in Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse. It’s a literary scent journey without the travel expenses. Wrapping yourself in a scent you love allows you to project your own personal portrait and create a powerful extension of your personality. Like silent flirting, perfume gives a subtle hint to who you are without speaking a word. Julie Grogan is the owner/designer/maker of the Latherati brand that includes perfume, lotion, soap, milk soaking salts, and wax melts, along with a Men’s Library of beard oils & balms.  Influenced by classic literature, her treasured library is being translated as scent, one book at a time, to help you embrace and celebrate your own strong character.  All products are handcrafted in small batches, with high quality ingredients.  Vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate & paraben free." - a note from the brand.
