Ricardo Ramos Perfumes de Autor/Parfums d'Auteur is "a Granada based latest fragrance line, which is making use of classic fragrance ingredients from the ancient kingdom of the Al Andalous to recreate a fused olfactory universe that blends the Middle East and Mediterranean traditions, with an aim to bring perfume enthusiasts closer to the cultural legacy of the Al Andalus kingdom, where European perfumery started in early Middle Ages. The perfumery creations of this line have been dedicated to characters, places, or traditions directly linked to the Al Andalus by means of a conscientious art direction, where the olfactory concept of each fragrance has closely been related to its name. Ricardo Ramos, Spaniard/Colombian fashion designer internationally awarded , made his debut in the young creators runway at Pasarela Gaudí in Barcelona and has been a regular participant in fashion weeks in Berlin, London, New York, etc. Professionally trained shuttling between Paris and London, he has been closely related to the fragrance world for more than 15 years thanks to various projects carried out with his contacts in the sector. Among his projects we have various collaborations with Lancaster Monaco Cosmetics House, Quest International Fragrance house where he made his first contacts within the industry and recents years with MG International (MG Gulcicek) in Istanbul, Turkey, with whom he maintains a close professional relationship. Besides being a fashion designer, Ramos is a great enthusiast of historical textile conservation, and a passionate ancient banknotes collector. Ricardo Ramos Perfumes de Autor up to the present have been co-created by Colombian-British perfumer Jorge Lee on the formulation side, and designer Ricardo Ramos on the evaluation and art direction. The earliest edition was created in 2004 and the newest is from 2023. Ricardo Ramos Perfumes de Autor fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Ricardo Ramos, Jorge Lee and Tomoo Inaba.
