Ulric de Varens
Ulric de Varens is a French marketing company founded in 1983 by Ulric Viellard that develops creative and original perfume offerings, with an emphasis on fun at affordable prices. The company aims its products at a market of ages 20 to 35 years. Ulric de Varens utilizes a highly experienced team, with members who have held key positions in some of the industry's leading companies, to successfully market its products in France and other European countries through mass market retailers. Ulric de Varens products are marketed in France mainly in grocery stores, with select Ulric de Varens boutiques available in large cities. In Germany, its products are marketed through drugstores. Throughout the rest of the world, the Ulric de Varens brand presents its products through select perfumery and department stores. The company was nominated for the Audace Creatrice ("Creative Audacity") prize in 2006, and has won numerous awards for its perfumes and packaging. Ulric de Varens perfumes are primarily marketed in Europe, with availability also in Asia and Argentina. In addition to fragrances for men and women, the company also produces a line of body care products, women's cosmetics, home fragrances and candles, as well as jewelry, offered through the same retail outlets. Designer Ulric de Varens has 171 perfumes in our fragrance base. The earliest edition was created in 1985 and the newest is from 2024. Ulric de Varens fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Maurice Roucel, Jean-Claude Ellena, Nathalie Zagigaeff, Henri Bergia and Pierre Bourdon.
