Reviews

I'm not one to trigger easily, but this perfume is explosively potent! A blend of BR540 Extrait, narcotic zest, and spices creates an overwhelmingly powerful scent. You'll only need a small amount - 100ml will last for multiple wearings. In fact, I'd advise against wearing it to the gym lest you wish to intimidate your fellow workout enthusiasts!

I'm absolutely enamored with the scent, which garners so many compliments. While I detect similarities to BR, this one boasts a more masculine and citrusy character. Although I've found it never overpowers or lingers excessively, even in the larger Made in England bottles. However, my recent experience with the French version left me underwhelmed - it barely registers after 10 minutes. It's clear that perfume preferences are highly subjective, as people either adore it or despise it. Some may be particularly sensitive to its fragrance, while others might not detect it at all. The disparity in olfactory perception is astonishing, and I've come to realize that our sense of smell is influenced by our genetic makeup. In a related note, my attempt to upgrade to the No 4 Elixir de parfum from Harrod's was disappointing - the scent bore little resemblance to its eau counterpart, instead emitting a harsh, powdery aroma with no connection to the original fragrance.

This perfume is the one I always wanted Instant Crush to be - a scent with an unpleasant rubbery aroma that lingers close to the skin throughout the day without good diffusion and leaves streaks on clothing due to its oily composition. I regret purchasing that particular fragrance. In contrast, this perfume has a light, zesty quality that's both sweet and slightly masculine in character. My only issue is that it's not versatile enough to suit every occasion - it's like wearing a sign that says "I'm trying to impress you."

This perfume left an unpleasant impression on me, I returned it after purchasing it and received a partial refund, which I gratefully accepted. The lingering scent ruined my mood for two days as I struggled to eliminate its presence through repeated showering and washing of affected areas at least three or four times, making the experience utterly miserable.

I'm here to reiterate that Instant Crush and this perfume don't share the same scent profile. I've also posted a new review to caution others that overapplication can lead to severe nose fatigue. Be cautious not to overspray, especially if you have my "weak" batch (EOD23), which isn't weak at all - it just causes intense nose fatigue when applied liberally.
