Reviews

This perfume is like a warm, sweet blanket of flowers and something undescribable. On my skin it smells really elegant and I get a lot of compliments on it. As I do not really like sweet scents in warm weather I only wear it, when it gets colder in the fall and winter and it is perfect.

This is a fresh, fruity, floral fragrance, nothing wow but doesn't smell like a teenager. The dry down on me smells very floral and sweet. Smells great in the spring time.

This one took me a few tries before I could fully appreciate it in all its beauty. Yes, I used to be a hater lol but now I’m a believer! I don’t have many fragrances with the combo of cacao, flowers, and patchouli. I absolutely love florals and patchouli, but cacao is a note that I struggle with from time to time. It’s often added to many gourmand fragrances, so I was shocked to see it in the perfume pyramid here. In this fragrance, it adds a beautiful sweet depth that works really well. At first, I thought this smelled just like BBW Into The Night, which is why I was like “well wtf is the point of this??? and for the price??? immediately no” but I was quickly put into my place after the 2nd or 3rd wear of this. Attrape-Rêves is a true fresh floral, heavy on the peony and rose, with a touch of aquatic litchi, and cacao and patchouli to make it unique and give it a sexy maturity. I don’t get a lot of “spice” necessarily from this, but the ginger adds a nice sparkling effect. Based on the composition, this could be considered as a chypre but it’s done in such a fresh way. This is a compliment getter for sure and has good performance. If you’re not big on flowers and/or patchouli, skip this one. This is for the girlies that like sexy and grown-up florals with a twist. It’s luxurious and I’m so glad that I gave it another chance. I just bought a big bottle yesterday and I’m very excited to have her for spring and summer. Although, this is one you can wear year-round. Very very very happy to be adding this beauty to my collection and I know she’ll be put to good use. I could totally see this being someone signature scent because it’s just so beautifully done and I couldn’t see this offending anyone around you. This is my second LV fragrance! The other one I have is City of Stars ⭐️, which I also love!

I was given a sample of this with an LV purchase on a trip, along with Coeur Battant. These two are very similar and, as a niche fraghead, I rejected both at first try as 'too ordinary'. How utterly stupid of me. I get trapped into the 'concept' aspect of a fragrance and often forget what I actually smell like in them. So, on that trip, I decided to wear them just for kicks and both were *magnificent*, but AR is my favourite between the two. It's addictive. First of all, the patchouli, of which I am not a fan, is sublimely blended here- as a grounding vehicle and nothing more. On me, this scent smells like a radiant, blooming, fuschia flower in a tropical climate. It's not a 'lots-of-money' smelling fragrance like Kurkdjian creations, it's feminine/big/sexy/refined. It's designed to appeal to many but, for me, it stills falls within niche territory because the fruit and patchouli take the florals into that gauche side-street. Can't detect the cocoa on me to be honest. Along with MFK's Feminin Pluriel, it is my top floral fragrance. After months of deliberation, I just ordered a full bottle. It's too good to not have in my collection and has already gone up in price, considerably. The only reason I did not order it straight away is that it doesn't last long enough to satisfy its steep price tag. But, I adore it so much, I'll overlook that. To me, it leans feminine but I'll definitely test it on my husband as well. I find most modern fragrances to be absolutely unisex in practice- they smell differently and somehow work very well.

A veryvsophisticated fragrance. In my eyes, longevity is not the best, but overall it’s a great perfume.
