Definitely more austere than LDDM. This scent shares a striking resemblance to Au Coeur du Desert. No one's being dramatic here! After sniffing Louanna, I'm convinced there's an unmistakable camphor undertone. The strength was so pronounced that while sipping juice, I momentarily thought I was drinking Vicks Vapor rub. Interestingly, my sinuses and airways now feel refreshingly clear after a 50-minute exposure to a small amount on my knee. The lingering aftertaste in my mouth has the same tingling sensation as using mouthwash - possibly just an individual sensitivity for me. Notably, Ebba Miss Marissa Oil had a similar reaction when sprayed on my arm, leaving it feeling slightly minty and stinging. Nonetheless, I must commend Louanna's exceptional quality and extraordinary longevity. It's an excellent choice for men seeking a spicy scent.
I've revisited this scent after some time and was pleasantly surprised to find a rich, aromatic leathery fragrance that defies my initial recollection of L'Air du Desert Marocain - it's actually an improvement over the original in my opinion! 😊
