Reviews

After reading the reviews on this site (my go to trusted place since I have gotten more serious about learning and loving new scents), I sooooo wanted to love or even like this perfume but I just can't do it. :( I bought the 75ml EDT blindly without a tester on hand but it came with a large gift vial which I thought was a bonus. Sadly after only one spritz, it bothered me tremendously and to my surprise based on other reviews but I needed to scrub it off but gave it a good long try first (it has lasting longevity powers, I will give it that if you like/love this perfume). I do not detect any citrus or rose scents whatsoever unfortunately. It is very thick, very heavy, very amber. I had hopes for a sensual cashmere along with the other notes listed but got a very...old man "liqueur" like scent is how I can best describe it for myself. Could I admire it on someone else? No actually, I wouldn't last long in the same room without getting a migraine. I really did wish to love this one!! This is now in my "had" list since it would've only been collecting dust so I sold it off as it could be appreciated by someone else.

I always try to see something nice and likable in any fragrance because I hate writing negative reviews.azzaro pour elle has promising notes and there was the possibility of a blindbuy if I saw it for a good deal.good that this never happened I love cashmere wood as I love lily, rose, vanilla and champagne.all the notes here are right up my alley except cardamom and olibanum I don't love cardamom, though I can get along with it so I blame olibanum here.it seems I really hate this note Azzaro pour elle was a hate in first sniff.I dislike it so much that I couldn't wait for it's drydown.all the notes are buried in something sharp, herbal, spicy, minty and very unpleasant to my nose.I really couldn't pickup other notes just almost sweet citruses and something woody It's not a safe perfume for blindbuy and I think it's definitely unique.I never experienced anything similar It rarely happens for me to scrub a perfume.this is one of the rare cases ❤ اکثر نت ها برام جذاب بنظر میومدن اما کندر همه چیز رو خراب کرد،شایدم ترکیب کندر با هل عملا نتونستم هیچ کدوم از نت های دیگه رو حس کنم چون همه چی زیر نتی تند،شارپ،گیاهی و کمی نعنایی دفن شده بود.

The composition starts with energizing spicy citrus notes and develops into a soft balmy base. The beautiful champagne colour fits well with the universe of this parfum.

This is such a nice, comforting smell, and has this familiar quality that I can't quite place--maybe it reminds of something my Dad used to wear? That warm, creamy base of cashmere & sandalwood is just so spot on and makes me feel happy and loved. The champagne and citrus combo reads more like a bitter grapefruit bite to me, and the cardamom comes across as ginger. This lasts quite a long time on me (close to 12 hours), doesn't develop much, just gradually loses that citric undertow. The strong cashmere/olibanum carrier is present throughout. Actually, there are days when I put this on and the citrus gets almost completely lost, my nose goes straight for the base. But I also love that playful bubbliness of champagne wafting from behind the olibanum every now and then. In warm/stuffy places the champagne note almost has a salty quality to it. Salty sandalwood caramel, if you will. So thrilled to discover this scent, completely by accident. I'm surprised it's not more popular but then again, I gag at the majority of drugstore offerings anyways. This will stay with me for a while. Update: Just realized the same person created this and Perles de Lalique, another nuanced, well-construed scent I love. Quite fitting. Also, the more I wear it, the more I distinguish the peach in the base. Ordinarily I'm not too crazy about this note, but I don't mind it here. Overall, I'm surprised how complex this is. Depending on the day/aura/body activity, it offers you a new delightful twist. I wear it when I don't want to overpower people with my signature Jungle but still want to feel good about myself (on hiking trips, trails, in common rooms, while working out, etc.)
