I don't detect any soup or Italian seasoning, instead, I'm greeted by a dominant lemony aroma. The overall impression is delightful, with zesty, sweet, and refreshing qualities.

I am thoroughly enjoying this fragrance amidst the sweltering heat! The comments suggesting a strong basil, herby, and food-like quality completely elude me - I don't pick up on the black licorice/darkness notes either. Perhaps that's where the hay and vetiver come in? On my skin, the basil takes on a creamy and aromatic quality, which may sound peculiar but feels distinct to me. This perfume radiates a sunny warmth, reminiscent of green fig and basil left to dry in the sun.
