Extremely stylish and refined, earning a perfect score from me! 💯👏
If you adore lavender and patchouli notes, then consider this perfume to be a source of inspiration. Both old and new batches share a consistent scent profile, in my opinion. A truly innovative fragrance creation! 👌
One of the most intriguing perfumes I've encountered is Beau de Jour. Upon applying a tester and experiencing its effects on my skin, I've been impressed by the exceptional quality of its ingredients, expertly blended to create a unique scent. While I appreciate its charms, I'm not convinced I would wear it frequently. Its appeal may be niche rather than broad, as the fragrance has a distinctive sweet lavender and baby powder quality (albeit elevated). The aroma evokes an elderly persona, reminiscent of my grandmother's signature scent or even Old Spice. I envision Beau de Jour suiting someone in their later years perfectly. Although I'm torn – finding it both comforting and beautiful – I worry that its old-world charm may be too much for modern tastes. Notwithstanding, the projection and longevity are truly exceptional.
Does this Barbershop fragrance evoke the scent of an older gentleman? It strikes me as being better suited for someone with a more mature taste, like a middle-aged or senior individual. If I were closer to that demographic, in my early 40s, I'd consider wearing this alongside Floris 82.
This is the perfect scent for a barbershop that I've been seeking. It satiates my craving!
