Reviews

A sweet fruity floral with just a touch of warmth from the cinnamon. Welcoming and does not overwhelm.

I just got my 1st swap today, this little gem, and it was a successful swap all the way :D It was instant love; the top notes are slightly juicy with buckets of wonderful sjasmin, than it dries down with the most gorgeous vanilla, and it clings to my skin like for ever, - det var en fantastisk deilig parfyme - tusen takk for den - but, I also think Belle Cherie fits mature womans (me 57) perfectly, I can higly recommand this beautiful perfume to woman of all ages :D

Fresh, juicy and aquatic floral. Delicious, light and uplifting. It reminds me of feijoas, because the fruit notes have an almost grainy feel that reminded me of the texture of a feijoa.

I received this as a gift. When I first sprayed it on, my initial thought was that this was a heavy one. It opens up strong. But then comes the drydown and it softens up. The drydown is lovely! It's softsweet and a bit powdery with a hint of orange. It does remind me of another perfume but I don't know which one. There's a note which makes it a bit more interesting than other perfumes, I think it's the carambola. To smell it you really have to press your nose against your skin, it's like a secret note, for those close to you! Sillage is good, about lastingpower, to me it smelled a lot softer after a few hours, but when I woke up the day after I could still smell it, so I would say very good! Maybe not ideal for hot summers, more for colder days and evenings.

In the opening you really get the tangerine, cinnamon, and a touch of creaminess from the vanilla. Yum! That said, if you judge this just on the opening, you'll think this is very young smelling and that it smells like every other "fruity floral" on the market. But give it time! I gets more sophisticated and womanly and on me at least, morphs into an oriental floral. After about 10 minutes the EDT smells almost exactly like how I remember Tuscany per Donna by Estee Lauder (which I used to wear often in the 90's and early 2000's). I have tried the EDT and the Parfum, and on me they have equal longevity. The Parfum smells a bit richer, and the EDT more ethereal. But they are both excellent. I love Fragonard and I think they make excellent quality fragrances, and their prices are reasonable.
