Got a sample, fell in love with it. Definitely going to get myself a bottle.

best way to describe it is; Absolute EDP: the vibrant youth Le parfum: the mature gentleman this is second best to the private accord. Will buy a full bottle.

Hugo Boss The Scent Le Parfum - who love iris, this is for him. It is dominated by the aphrodisiac fruit of maninka, whose aroma is reminiscent of passion fruit soaked in rum. At the same time, the scent of spicy ginger, delicate lavender and animal skin will make you happy. Scent: 6/10 Longevity: 5/10 Sillage: 5/10 Bottle: 6.5/10 Value for money: 6/10

Reminds me of a TMNT bubble bath from the eighties. Not really something I think I’d wear particularly often.

So I’ve just got a tester of this and decided to purchased a bottle. You can smell the top Maninka Fruit which certainly gives it that “The Scent” vibe but this soon disappears, afterward mostly the middle Iris and woodyness is left, some people have commented there comparing this to Dior Homme Intense but Le Parfum is NOT lip-sticky like Homme Intense and The Scent Le Parfum has a slightly fruity-sweetness to it, most likely thanks to the Maninka Fruit. Still it’s a lovely scent, I just wish the Maninka note lasted into the middle notes alittle more.
