This perfume embodies its bottle's personality perfectly - the vibrant pink color is mirrored in its sparkly, tart, and crisp scent. To me, it's bold, attention-grabbing, and extremely long-lasting with an impressive sillage that's reminiscent of a life-of-the-party fragrance. While it may not align with my personal style, I reserve it for occasions when I want to shake things up or boost my confidence. The combination of dry ice, citrus, and fruity notes creates a unique energy, while the woody musk base adds depth and sets this perfume apart from others in my collection.
Although I'm not a fan of this scent when I initially smell it, it surprisingly transforms into a fresh and youthful fragrance on me, similar to a grandmother wearing Versace - musk and raspberry blend perfectly together, but with none of the unpleasant characteristics that bothered me at first. Once applied, any issues disappear, leaving behind a sweet and fruity aroma reminiscent of a classic VS scent. I was shocked by this transformation, as I've struggled to wear scents like Bombshell in the past. While it still feels artificial, its longevity is impressive, lasting an unusually long time on my dry skin. As others have noted, "it grows on you," as my initial dislike gave way to a pleasant surprise on the third day. Despite this, I wouldn't consider purchasing it again, preferring deeper scents like Noir, but it's reassuring to know I didn't waste my money.
I received this fragrance as part of my Scent Bird subscription and found it to be quite pleasant, with a lovely appearance, although it didn't resonate with me personally. I ended up gifting it to my cousin instead.
This perfume has won my heart. My body chemistry tends to mute most floral fragrances, amplifying instead the base notes of many perfumes. As a result, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet takes on a peculiar quality on me, reminiscent of plastic flower water at first. However, after an hour, this scent evolves into something deep and rich, retaining its character for hours to come. I find it fitting for spring, fall, or winter, although in the summer months, I might need to reapply frequently to appreciate the fresh top notes.
Vibrant yet jarring floral notes, overwhelming and artificial in character, leaving an unpleasant sensation on the skin. I regret to say it fails to impress.
