I blind bought this perfume after reading an article about it on Fragrantica. It arrived this morning so I eagerly sprayed it on. I love it!! Although the reason I bought it was for the coffee note and it never appeared on my skin I still consider this perfume amazing. It is a powdery feminine scent, not sweet even though it has vanilla in it. The rose is soft and not old lady type. A hint of cinnamon and mandarin I smell but it is not too spicy or citrusy. It is well blended and smells wonderful! Projection is at least 6 feet with a strong scent trail in 88 degrees it is still strong after 7 hours and has only slightly faded with a hint of white musk. If you love powdery scents like Van Cleef & Arpels Vanille Orchid then you should like this one. If you dislike powdery scents do not blind buy this order a sample off company website or skip it. This is worthy of being a signature scent and I may change to it after testing it out more.

This is freaking delicious. WOW. Coffee, creamy sweet tonka & vanilla, cinnamon, carmel gourmand heaven. This is a 10 out of 10 for me. PSA - Smells nothing like Feve Delicieuse. If it smells like anything, it's Kilian's Black Phantom. Definitely shares some similarities with that one but very much its own thing. UPDATE - The far far drydown is actually quite similar to the dry down of Dior's Feve Delicieuse. I stand corrected. That said, majority of the wearing experience is very unique.

Cinnamon bomb! Looking at the notes, I expected this to be a gourmand - and it is, in theory. It opens sweet, but there's something artificial in the background. It smells like Big Red chewing gum with a hint of...hairspray? I was expecting more creaminess, instead it's quite dry and spicy. I believe Carner Barcelona is much better at crafting spicy / cinnamon frags, whereas Kerosene is much better at doing coffee right - check those out instead.

Café Cabanel is perfect for this time around. On me it smells like warm gingerbread cookies sprinkled with fresh lemon zest. Warm, cozy, deliciously gourmand and just has such a kindness to it. I will definitely need to acquire a bottle of this one because it just gives me such good vibes. I love that when a fragrance does that; puts a smile on my face and helps me forget the troubles of the day. Café Cabanel did exactly that.
