I bought a sample on ebay. I tried it twice and didn't like it. For me it is a coconut scent (I wonder the note is not mentioned on Fragrantica) and it leans masculine. I do not find it fresh, more milky. It stays long on me: several hours.

It’s even better layering with Indult Tihota. Was unsure I really liked this until I layered it then WOW! Balances it out wonderfully by adding depth with the warming and comforting vanilla .

if this didn't lean a bit feminine, it would be my favorite fragrance. greatest lv of all time.

Smells like a citrus Egyptian musk, very soft scent.

I purchased a sample because I own Terracotta and love it, but I'm not a fan of powdery scents so was unsure about this one. I have also tested TF Soleil Blanc in the past, and that is weaker and not as sweet as Terracotta. City of stars is powdery, but not toooooo powdery to the point where I wouldn't like it. Mixed with the citrus and tiare it offers a fresher take on the sunscreen vibe, and the sandalwood in the base gives it a nice bit of something extra, maybe even adding a touch of very mild spice, almost a hippy vibe in more of a boho kinda way. This is not sweet in any way, and because of this I'd say Terracotta and City of Stars are very distant cousins of the sunscreen beach vibe family. The citrus in City of stars is bitter rather than fresh and it's powdery.
