Reviews

I was introduced to Eau De Rubylips by a sales assistant who likened it to Noa Perle by Cacharel, which I was also exploring at the time. While both fragrances share similarities in their opening top notes, I find myself preferring Noa Perle in its drydown. This fragrance is quintessentially Summer-like, characterized by a citrusy and sour grapefruit introduction and a heart of pineapple and magnolia. Although I'm not particularly fond of grapefruit in general, it's not overly pronounced here. The pineapple note, which usually bothers me, is tempered by the presence of magnolia, creating a softer, more harmonious blend. To be honest, this fragrance won't resonate with me, but fans of fruity florals and scents like Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana and Baby Doll by YSL may find it appealing. The lasting power is average, as I never reached the base notes before the scent dissipated.

Eau de RubyLips boasts a refreshing, fruity scent that's ideal for warm weather. The grapefruit opening is particularly prominent, lending the fragrance its juiciness, while the pineapple adds a subtle sweetness. This perfume is easy to wear and has a lightweight quality to it. However, its short longevity may be a drawback. If you're seeking something similar with improved staying power, Salvador Dali Fragrances has recently introduced Dalilight, which shares many of Eau de RubyLips' characteristics – including its juiciness and complexity – but lasts longer and exudes more intensity.

I find Scent of Peace from Bond 9 bears a striking resemblance to Light Blue, yet still distinct. The aroma I perceive consists of a sequence of fresh notes: cedar, lemon, honeysuckle, grapefruit, and subtle amber, which I consider an alluring blend. Although it doesn't conform to the traditional definition of an "aquatic" scent, it does share some characteristics. The pineapple note adds a touch of sweetness without overwhelming the composition. Its longevity is relatively short-lived, lasting only about three hours, but pairing it with Avon's green apple lotion helps extend its presence on the skin and enhance its crispness. I would encourage readers to give this affordable fragrance a try, as it offers high-quality performance at an economical price.

To me, the scent resembled a medley of spice rack contents, lacking finesse and cohesion - it's as if the fragrance combined every ingredient without discerning a clear hierarchy.

We're in the midst of a heat wave here and I'm only reaching for fragrances like EA's Green Tea Cucumber and this particular one.
