I know people don't enjoy this fragrance... It feels expensive, but it is a pleasant scent. The initial burst of fresh cherry stands out nicely, followed by an airy feel overall.
Opens with bright cherry notes. Then dries down into a fruity floral musky feminine fresh blend. And that's it - quite linear, nothing extraordinary. This could appeal to fans of straightforward, fruity-floral scents designed for women if you enjoy those types of fragrances. If you're looking for something more complex or unique than just the basic notes combined in this manner, then perhaps this isn't your ideal choice. And remember that these kinds of bright cherry opening scents might be available at much lower price points elsewhere, so keep an eye out for alternatives if value is important to you. It's definitely worth testing before making a purchase commitment.
Got the sample recently. Decided to go with Electric Cherry, as it didn't remind me of another one, unlike Cherry Smoke. Needless to say, I tried it out only after several days. Right away when I smelled it, I got a cherry car air freshener scent that was not similar at all to the original. The initial notes faded quickly in under an hour, leaving behind a musky floral impression. The fragrance isn't disappointing...but it's definitely costly. Don't think you should try this without knowing more.
The scent is straightforward and juicy sweet cherry. It's like squeezing a ripe cherry, almost as if you can feel the sticky juice dripping onto your skin. I've been testing out the travel-sized version of Chanel No. 5 Electric Cherry, which feels very different from my usual fall fragrance, Tom Ford's Lost Cherry. On second thought though, while this is an okay perfume in its own right, against the full-size Lost Cherry, I still find that one to be more sophisticated and complex, even with notes like almond powderiness that change throughout the day.
