I bought this last week, and I’ve been wearing it everyday. It’s so strong in performance on my skin, lasts all day. I probably shouldn’t be wearing it everyday but I can’t stop, it’s almost addicting. Spraying only TWICE in the morning and I can still smell it on me at night. For the longest time my signature scent was Bleu de Chanel (I know, boring, but I love fresh scents) Elysium is replacing that. Seems pretty versatile to me. Not sure how it’s going to perform in colder seasons, we’ll see. Price is the only drawback here, I even had to pay customs fees 😡 honestly worth it if you love fresh scents. There are affordable and similar scents available to Elysium, but if you can afford this I highly recommend you to get a decant first before spending your next mortgage payment on a fragrance bottle. Scent: 10/10 Silage: 10/10 Longevity: 10/10 Price: 3/10 Overall: 8/10
Absolute masterpiece of a fragrance, what Roja has done with this one is just amazing without exaggerating. You know it's not easy to make an extrait version of a summer fragrance, he done it and the result is just too good. I own the Cologne version and i love it but the Parfum version takes the thing to the next level. It's buttery, heavier, creamier and the ambergris is out of this world, i find it much more prominent than in the cologne version, and god knows i love ambergris. Roja is one of those rare parfumers that uses Real ambergris which is difficult to get knowing it's caracteristics and the whole process that it has to go through. This is worth every single dollar. Edit: if you're looking for performance get the cologne version, lasts longer and projects more based on my experience and several wears. The smell of the Parfum version is better tho, it's the fragrance that i enjoy the most but unfortunately it's not long lasting even with a good amount of sprays. The cologne projects the whole day on me.
Super expensive shampoo aroma - the same happening with Parfum Cologne - but here even more natural feeling and somewhat objective, although denser and darker. MAJOR downside is the low projection. To me, a expensive perfume's GOTTA deliver projection power, otherwise you're just buying a $400+ 50ml bottle expensive aftershave.
I pulled my last review where I said it was ok but not more. I have worn it a bit more and compared it to Cedrat Boise and Aventus and I am starting to really love Elysium. It's a bit softer and brighter than those two and just a very pleasant fragrance. It's very well blended. Elysium might become a favorite of mine rather quickly, even though it's winter.
one of the best fragrances I've ever smelled. Used it for special occasions with great memories. Will be purchasing a full bottle 10/10
