Reviews

Calvin Klein's fragrances are often challenging, with the exception of Eternity Moment, which is very floral and suitable for all occasions. I recall being unimpressed by Eternity and Obsession when I first tested them about 10 years ago, but I've since learned to appreciate Eternity.

I recall the introduction of CK Escape back in 1991, when I stumbled upon its oceanic and tropical notes at a Macy's counter. The initial whiff left me enchanted by its unique blend of freshness and sensuality. The diverse note profile was astonishingly well-balanced, exuding an air of pleasure and indulgence that was undeniably alluring. On my skin, the scent neither made a bold statement nor remained shy; instead, it effortlessly struck a perfect balance. I remember wearing it during sweltering summer days and sultry nights, which prompted numerous compliments. Recently, while browsing a typical mall perfume shop, I rediscovered CK Escape behind the counter and was reminded of why I initially fell in love with it. The tester spray transported me back to that memorable moment, and the scent remained as captivating as ever. I've since re-purchased a 3.4 oz bottle for under $25 from Ebay, eager to relive fond memories and enjoy this timeless classic once more.

I am willing to sell or trade a full 100ml bottle.

When I first encountered Escape, I didn't appreciate its robust and pungent scent. My taste preferences leaned towards softer, sweeter florals back then. However, my perfume preferences have evolved significantly over time; in fact, I've developed a fondness for salty, sour, and marine-like notes. The distinctive opening of Escape's original version still resonates with me (perhaps because it initially didn't appeal to me). I was eager to revisit this scent, thinking that since I can now appreciate its unique character, I'd want to buy a large bottle online. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming – the new formulation lacks the sharp, sour, and salty notes that gave it its distinct personality. To be frank, this juice now smells generic and sweet to me... It's disappointing to see how Escape has lost its edge and is no longer a trendsetter in my eyes.

One of my favorite aspects of Escape is its crisp, transparent fragrance, which stands out from other scents such as Sunflowers and L'Eau D'Issey, whose styles I'm not particularly fond of.
