Great every day fragrance
A fresh, non offensive summer scent. Pleasant enough, but I find it a bit one dimensional. I can only really smell what I would describe as sliced cucumber mixed with something sugary. I can't detect the other notes listed on this page that this frag is supposed to have, no matter how hard or how many times I sniff my arm! A positive is that this has above average longevity for a light summer fragrance.
Pure class and elegance in a bottle. Opens fresh and aromatic and dries to a soothing cedar/woody accord. This is for someone who is very elegant and discrete that doesn’t need to wear overly projecting scents just to attract attention. Perfect for office, daytime and strolls. Great for hot & tropical regions but not for cold regions. It’s just classy & gorgeous! A very safe blind buy.
I wonder why was the "Essence pure intense" with the black bottle added till now to the S. T. Dupont collection in Fragrantica ...I already got it !!
Got this from the back of my shelf the other day after being pretty underwhelmed by it when I first got it a couple years ago (as a blind buy). It's definitely better than I remembered it and is a pretty pleasing, easy-to-like freshie. The initial spray is a little off-putting to me still. It comes off as a little sugary sweet and harsh (probably from the coriander) in that initial blast, but it doesn't take long at all for it to settle to a nice pleasant, unassuming scent. The citrus is handled well here. Sophisticated but not outdated, just modern enough to draw people in. Performance is probably better than most freshies of this nature. I can smell it for about 5 hours before it's mostly gone. It projects for a while, too.
