I can understand why people might compare this perfume to Hypnose. While Hypnose feels heavier and sweeter, I find that Eternal Magic is softer and floral. It's mostly iris with a delicate white chocolate note. I really enjoy the powdery, gentle sweetness of Eternal Magic. The vanilla stands out but doesn't overpower the fragrance. It feels romantic, lovely, and dreamy. I think the woodsy notes include vetiver. Overall, it lasts for about 4 to 6 hours on me and leaves a soft scent trail, which I appreciate in sweeter fragrances.
"My go-to scent is Avon's [Name], and the sillage on me is strong— lasts about two to three hours. I love how it feels every time I spritz it. Plus, I grabbed the deodorant version too because it's a perfect balance of iris and violet with a touch of sweetness that doesn't feel overwhelming. I'm planning to stockpile a few just in case they ever discontinue it, though I doubt that'll happen anytime soon."
I'm still undecided about this perfume. All I have is a 15ml roll-on, which I've tested a few times. It lasts a while on my skin but keeps reminding me of another scent. Maybe an older Avon fragrance? It strikes me that Avon often creates fragrances that remind me of older scents no longer available. There's nothing particularly unique here, though I'll give it another chance with more wearings since I'm eager to better understand the blend of rose and vanilla.
I inherited this perfume from my mom because she hadn't used it. After just one spritz, the strong scent made my nostrils burn. It didn't do anything for me; it felt like a complete miss. It reminded me of coloring my hair—complete with that sharp, ammonia-like sting. However, I can't help but think it might have been the dry-down phase because my friend mentioned it had a different impression on them. I mean, was taking this perfume worth it? In my opinion, absolutely not.
When I applied the perfume, I thought I'd mainly detect vanilla since many reviews have called it a sweet vanilla scent. However, for me, the vanilla was barely noticeable, while the iris stood out strongly. The longevity isn't too long; it fades away fast, or I just get accustomed to it. Overall, it's a sweet floral fragrance that's not my top choice, though I'll continue wearing it.
