I sprayed this perfume twice in my room with the door open, and when my brother walked in, he was like, “Damn! That’s some strong stuff, huh?” He said he could smell it all the way to the living room. It’s both funny and surprising how far the scent carries! The fragrance is so powerful, it almost makes you question how much to spritz at any given time.
This scent has an unusual blend of black mulch and citrus freshness that initially feels a bit off, yet it brings back vivid memories of helping my parents and siblings spread manure on the flowerbeds during summer. It’s a smell that takes me back to childhood, and while I enjoy wearing it in the summertime for myself, I’m not sure if I’d want others to associate it with citrus manure.
Let me cut to the chase: This scent is best suited for men over 60. I bought it without really knowing what to expect, and while I'm not turned off by the smell, I'm actually pretty let down because it reminds me of old furniture or a dusty book in a neglected library shelf. The way the notes blend is oddly mature, making it something that feels out of place on someone without a full head of white hair.
Eternal Oud is a fragrance for both men and women that feels perfect during cooler weather. It starts with vibrant plum and lemon notes that linger into heliotrope, cherry almond, and orchid. The base blends oud, amber, and vanilla to create a warm, floral, and woody scent. I’m really impressed by it—I’d give it two thumbs up, but don’t let my thoughts sway your opinion. Everyone has different tastes, so always try a sample before committing. It’s the best way to make sure you love it for yourself!
It reminds me of Grand Soir at first, but it doesn’t develop into a smooth vanilla-benzoin finish. It’s more like a straightforward benzoin-amber-tonka blend that feels pretty linear. For the first couple of hours, it does feel a bit more muscular and intense, similar to Grand Soir. However, I’m not super impressed with its longevity or how it projects. On me, it fades pretty quickly—only lasting about three hours on my skin. Considering the price, though, it’s still worth grabbing for everyday wear when something like GR feels too much. Plus, the bottle looks better in pictures than in real life; it seems a bit on the cheaper side to me.
