The scent lacks freshness and creaminess. The fragrance might have been better named "Vanilla Sugar" for accuracy. However, it ends up being much sweeter than its name implies.
Just like its name suggests, Fresh Cream offers a scent that’s pretty and softly sweet, reminiscent of whipped cream and vanilla. While I don’t usually care for the smell of milk or enjoy it on its own, I find this fragrance to be comforting and warm, making it perfect to wear alone or even layer with other scents if you’re into experimenting. I’ve purchased Fresh Cream in various forms, including perfume, body cream, lotion, and shower gel. It has excellent longevity, lasting throughout the day—even with just a body mist. The sillage is particularly strong when I use the body wash and lotion together, usually lingering for an arm’s length. As a huge fan of vanilla and gourmand fragrances, some of my go-to perfumes in this category include Kayali Vanilla 28 (a must-have, in my opinion), Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere (which I prefer during fall and winter), Burberry Goddess, Nest Golden Nectar, The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods, Gold Sugar (if anyone has it, feel free to reach out!), VS Tease Crème Cloud, VS Tease Candy Noir, and VS Glitter Hustle (again, if you’ve got any, I’d love to hear about it!).
Fresh Cream evokes the aroma of slightly spoiled milk, which is quite vivid but not in a pleasant way. I was expecting a creamy vanilla whipped cream scent, but instead, I encountered an off-putting mix of sour milk and buttery undertones. Layering it with other perfumes might help balance the overall impression. However, I found the longevity lacking and feel the price point is too high for what’s offered. This fragrance left me disappointed. If that unique combination appeals to you, then by all means, give it a try.
