Reviews

Givenchy has fallen short of my expectations, delivering an overpowering blend that's overwhelmingly sweet to the point of being nauseatingly cloying. I'll continue to reach for Pi and Rouge Xeryus instead, as this new fragrance feels like a blatant attempt to cash in on previous successes, echoing notes reminiscent of Hero Eau de Parfum or one of its flankers.

What a delightful surprise! 😊 After trying Valentino Born In Roma Intense, I had my doubts about the new 2023 releases, but it turns out I was mistaken. Iris is one of my favorite notes, and while it's not listed in the breakdown for Society... at first glance, I realized that it's actually present in this perfume, albeit subtly. The opening has a similar feel to a transition scent in the line, where you get just enough of the Iris to guide you through the midsection before venturing into new territory. I was taken aback by the "reminds me of" section, as I expected Reflection Man to be at number one, but it wasn't even on the list! 🤯 To me, this scent is a blend of Reflection Man, Reflection 45, Le Male, and subtle hints from Boss The Scent and Gentlemen lines, with a touch of Code Absolu/Code Parfum. The Vanilla comes across as dry but sweet, thanks to the Narcissus, with Vetiver providing depth behind everything. Palo Santo adds a dry, woody, and musky touch that's just right. This scent has a good balance of density and freshness, which I think is where Reflection/Reflection 45 comes in. Overall, it's a very relaxing and pleasant scent with solid projection and longevity for the profile. I imagine it would be perfect for casual wear during Spring or Fall, but might be too dense for summer. Fingers crossed that the rest of this year's releases are as interesting and enjoyable! 🤞

Anyone else experience a familiar scent in this perfume, reminiscent of Eros?

The initial impression is strikingly pleasant, evolving into a subtle blend of creamy vanilla and earthy vetiver, accompanied by a spicy undertone reminiscent of pepper. This one-of-a-kind fragrance showcases its adaptability and has the potential to become a personal signature scent.

I'm completely besotted by this fragrance! If I were to describe its essence, I'd say it's akin to a suave gentleman sipping cappuccino on the Eiffel Tower, indulging in a croissant and cigar, exuding an aura of sophistication. The scent is truly incredible - I've received numerous unsolicited compliments when wearing it.
