Good Girl Blush is reminiscent of the signature Good Girl's youthful and carefree side, with its own unique twist that sets it apart from its elegant older sibling. While it shares some similarities with the original, it lacks the mature and sultry quality that makes it perfect for everyday wear. Compared to Good Girl, I find Blush to be less potent and projecting, with a softer dry down due to its increased vanilla notes. If you find the signature Good Girl too overwhelming or intense, you might appreciate Blush as a more subtle and daytime-friendly option.
The opening is incredibly sweet and feminine, evoking the scent of bubblegum tuberose and sugary pink candy. However, I'm disappointed by the dry down, which surprisingly smells identical to the initial fragrance. Moreover, the texture of this perfume has a peculiar, fuzzy quality that makes my skin itch.
This perfume is reminiscent of a sugar cupcake with notes of lemon, vanilla, and hydrangea on top, all wrapped in buttercream. Its longevity and projection are impressive, but if you're already familiar with the Goor or Glam versions, this scent might feel too similar. I'd opt for one of the other fruity flankers instead, as they offer a more distinct character; it's like comparing this to Prada Paradoxe, which is sweeter in nature.
I recently acquired this perfume and upon application, I'm greeted by a refreshing citrus accord blended with sweet ylang-ylang and subtle peony notes. As the fragrance settles, it transitions to a creamy vanilla and almond dry down that lingers on my skin for around 3-4 hours. The sillage is moderate, remaining within arm's reach throughout its duration 😊
I bypassed this perfume initially because almond notes typically morph into a play dough-like texture on my skin, which wasn't an appealing prospect. Happily, no such issue here!
