A subtle scent with a grey undertone that would be pleasant in a brief encounter, but fails to leave a lasting impression on me. The fig note stands out, while the black tea accord is fleeting and elusive, only to give way to a dry down dominated by powdery iris notes. Overall, it's an unremarkable fragrance.
I often marvel at individuals who can effortlessly extract the best qualities from perfumes, as I frequently find myself overwhelmed by the dominating, pungent notes that others seem to despise. Fortunately, this particular scent stands out for its pleasant, powdery, fig-infused, and subtle aroma reminiscent of tea. Its addictive nature only adds to its allure. Ultimately, everyone's skin chemistry is unique, so it's essential to test a perfume before committing to it.
I'll keep it brief. Whenever I apply Gris Charnel in its Eau de Parfum concentration, I'm utterly invulnerable to any negativity that comes my way.
I adore the initial fragrance impression, truly captivating! Once the top notes dissipate, the scent evolves into a subtle skin scent that reminds me of Crystal Noir in a minor way, sharing a similar essence. It's no wonder why I have such a strong affinity for this perfume, as it holds sentimental value for me - I actually wore Crystal Noir on my wedding day!
I'm particularly fond of this fragrance! It commences with an intriguingly distinct top note that's challenging to identify, but eventually fades away within a few minutes. As I perceive it, the scent is reminiscent of iris with its powdery quality and tonka, which translates into a soft, warm tobacco aroma for me. I also detect subtle hints of tea and a boozy undertone. Overall, this is a unisex fragrance that exudes warmth, powderiness, and a hint of sweetness. The longevity and projection are satisfactory.
