I purchased this perfume today for £10.50 in a 30ml bottle, its affordability was irresistible! Halle is a pleasant, unobtrusive scent with sweet and spicy undertones, reminiscent of a lighter, sweeter version of Britney Spears' Believe. After applying it before heading to work, one of my male colleagues noticed the pleasant aroma, commenting 'What's that nice smell?' The only drawback I've experienced so far is its poor lasting power.
This perfume strikes me as a rich and indulgent treat, with a decent longevity despite being reasonably priced.
On my skin, I detect a rich warmth, a sugary sweetness, subtle incense notes, and an irresistible delicacy.
I truly hoped for a positive experience with this fragrance, given the rave reviews I've come across. Unfortunately, upon application, I detected only an overpowering and artificial blend of fruit notes that left me underwhelmed :(. Perhaps it will grow on me over time, as some others have suggested.
A fortunate blind purchase turned out to be a fantastic discovery! Halle is a lovely oriental woody perfume with a prominent fig leaf, pear, sandalwood, and amber note. It leaves behind a noticeable trail; I would rate its sillage at 9/10. In terms of longevity, Halle lasts reasonably well for around 5-6 hours before transitioning to a skin scent. If I were to compare another fragrance similar to Halle, it would be Cristobal by Balenciaga, which is now discontinued and quite rare. Fortunately, Halle makes an excellent substitute; I'm already planning on stocking up with additional bottles. In my opinion, Halle did an outstanding job with this delightful perfume; apart from Pure Orchid, which I adore, Halle EDP will be my top choice for an evening out. This beautiful, mature fragrance is also budget-friendly.
