Tried to appreciate this fragrance but couldn't. The scent reminds me of a lavender hand soap I used previously, which isn't pleasant. It's overwhelmingly powdery with an unusual nuance that I can't quite put my finger on. I was surprised that Fragrantica didn't list "powdery" as an accord. The base is slightly more pleasant, but I prefer fragrances that smell good from start to finish. While the artistic concept was intriguing, the execution fell short. This fragrance has too much lilac and mimosa for my taste. Performance-wise, it's below average for me. Overall, this scent may be suitable for warmer weather, but not for me. I'm glad I purchased a decant first, so I would advise others to do the same before committing. It gets 2 out of 10 from me.
@Anamandy, upon closer inspection, I find that the scent is still lingering on my skin.
This scent stands out among the Zoologist collection as my absolute favorite. I managed to snag a full bottle for $90, complete with box and free shipping, from someone who wasn't fond of it. While I've grown to love other travel-sized bottles I own, I don't envision myself investing in full-size bottles anytime soon - these scents seem to last an eternity! On me, this one exhibits both sweet and floral notes on different days. The main accords that emerge are honeysuckle, mimosa, and honey, which blend together beautifully. Although it's a lovely scent, I wouldn't imagine any man wearing it; it's very much feminine in character 😊
I only detect honeysuckle and baby wipes at first application, followed by a drydown of musk. While it's a scent that lacks controversy and is pleasant, I find it lacking in uniqueness to justify purchasing a full bottle.
This perfume surprised me as my initial reaction was that it was too sugary and artificial, but after wearing it more, I developed a strong affection for it and now I rate it 8/10 and have even purchased it. At first, the scent is extremely bright and fruity, with a slightly synthetic quality that's both intriguing and lovely - although I can see why some people might compare it to laundry detergent! As it wears, the fragrance remains consistent, never changing character or intensity. This one seems geared towards a younger woman who wants a carefree, summery scent for everyday wear.
