The scent is pleasant and smells like a mix of Hypnotic Poison and Poison Girl, but it lacks the uniqueness that makes those fragrances special. It's a straightforward white floral vanilla with orange notes in the background. Occasionally, I catch a whiff of citrus bitterness from the neroli that adds some interest, but it's fleeting. Overall, this fragrance feels bland and unremarkable. 🌞
Today, I visited the city to test J'adore and also applied a spritz to my other arm to compare. I'm enchanted by the delectability of this perfume; initially, it had a citrusy quality, but has since transformed into a captivating warm orange vanilla dry down. I detect some resemblance with HP Sensuelle, yet in all sincerity, this one is more effortless to wear and I would feel at ease wearing it during the daytime whereas HP Sensuelle is better suited for evening. It's lighter than the original but still boasts impressive longevity and a subtle whisper of sillage, which suits my taste perfectly.
