So strange it doesn't have pineapple, blackcurrant or birch but bergamot & Oud gives off a smokey aventus batch impression. It's also can bit harsh in the opening like CDNIM. Can't say it's an Aventus clone but it's not original either. All of this makes it redundant for me personally

No orange is listed but that's what I get from it. Orange creamsicle Aventus.

Wow first review! Honored. Tested this blind, and I got a soft spicy, strong bergamot. Then later I suspected vetyver, tart woodsy notes, and florals and resins that sweeten that up. I suspected spices, but subtle ones, so no cardamom / clove / ginger. I guess that was the coriander. I am a little surprised that this is white floral / vanilla, because my nose guessed citrus / green. (the write-up confirms this - citrus aromatic! Come on fragrantica..)But that is mainly the first half hour, the drydown is more woodsy and sweet. Definitely reminds me of something, trying to place what! To be confirmed..Lasting power amazing here. I checked the website, at 30% perfume concentration it's no wonder. **OK I know what this reminds me of - Hortense Rance 1975 - the opening. The citrus bergamot blast opening is very similar. This stays that way, the best part of it, and lasts quite well! (drydown of hortense is much warm spicier and lasting power isn't great but here the bergamot and musk really lingers.) There is a subtle masculine undertone for both of these perfumes and most of Rances - I would not be surprised if it was the same nose behind these lines. **If you are in the UK and would like to take part in our blind-sampling exchange and discussion group, or just swap some samples, get in touch!**

As a fragrance on its own, it’s nice, elegant, and crowd pleasing. Could easily be someone’s everyday signature scent and the notes blend really well. However reviewing this as a collector, it’s extremely redundant for me as I already own Ani and Cedrat Boise. This to me is just Cedrat Boise with a about 10% more vanilla in it that resembles the vanilla in Ani. If you don’t already own Cedrat Boise and you have extra money for a more vanillic version of it get this. But if you don’t care for those slight nuances and want more for your money, Cedrat Boise is the way to go. On its own as a scent I’d give it a 8/10 but since this is a DNA I’ve been smelling for a while and is redundant to me I have to drop it to a 6/10. Definitely sample first and spend some time with it. Great scent, great quality and blend, just not anything unique and redundant for those who’ve already smelled Ani/Cedrat Boise/Aventus

110% AVENTUS CREAMSICLE :)
