@shkim totally agreed, and according to the Zegna store in Chicago: yes, the whole Essenze line will unfortunately be discontinued. (Haitian Vetiver and Javanese Patchouli are already discontinued, the other 5 will follow in 2019) Edit: not discontinued, just the former 8 regular EDTs and 5 gold/spices EDTs have been replaced by 5 EDPs (4 regular, and 1 spice).

@Andy the Frenchy Are you really sure that the line is being discontinued? Yesterday at Heathrow airport in the UK, I smelled a brand new release in the Essenze line "Madras Cardamom". It smelled fantastic by the way. If it's being discontinued maybe it's just in the US? To say a few words about this particular fragrance: So smooth and inviting! To me, this is one of the best and more romantic smelling oud fragrances that I've tried. Very very good.
My favorite Oud fragrance hands down You can smell all the above notes breakdown, nothing to add when it comes to the Rose Oud famous combo. however, the Bergamot gave it an outstanding twist. The performance is immense & to me it is not really skanky as long as your spritz are reasonable & don't go heavy on the sprayer. There are so many rose oud combo fragrances out there but to me this is the best ever
Non sono un amante oud e nemmeno un appassionato di rosa.detto questo: Mi piace!!! L'apertura mi ricorda amber&spices di montale in una versione piu calda, umida e sexy.con una rosa di qualita'superiore,piu credibile e molto femminile. Avrei pensato che fosse commercializzato per le donne. Come si asciuga un po'sento splendide zaffate di patchouli pulito miscelato perfettamente con ambra calda e un pizzico di bergamotto che lo mantiene piccante al punto giusto. L'oud si mantiene protagonista ma la rosa e'la parte migliore e gli altri ingredienti si amalgano perfettamente. Versatile,piacevole di lunga durata sulla pelle e fantastico sui vestiti. Armonioso,pulito,raffinato e accattivante e purtroppo per me... Femminile!
