I'm still undecided about this perfume. Upon first impression, it has an unusual scent that reminds me of pickle juice mixed with laundry detergent, leaving me wondering if it's truly a good match for my taste buds. Further testing is needed to form a more definitive opinion.
The initial impact of this perfume strikes me as akin to a bathroom spray, yet it surprisingly evolves into a subtle honey, floral, sweet fragrance that exudes powder notes in a soft and delicate manner. I'm particularly drawn to the scent's seductive and enigmatic quality. Although I was initially disappointed by Amouage after my ill-fated blind purchase of Portrayal, I'm more optimistic about Lilac Love, Journey, and Imitation aligning with my tastes.
I adore Journey by Amouage! However, noticing it's being sold at such discounted prices on certain online platforms, like AllBeauty or websites featured on Fragrantica, raises concerns about authenticity for me. Has anyone else experienced this discrepancy? I'm hesitant to take the plunge, as my intuition is screaming "fake" 😕
I detect subtle notes of wet tobacco, cedar, and a whisper of honey. Floral elements are noticeably absent from this fragrance, at least on my skin. Although I'm not particularly fond of this scent on me, I'll reserve judgment for now, as I made this purchase blind; I'll revisit it during the cooler months and attempt to pair it with another EDP to enhance its wearability.
