I thought I needed a vintage bottle of Obsession pure parfum, but it turns out that I just need Krazy Krizia
Loud and in the big 80's vein. It starts out with with strong aldehyde and a very obvious green note, as well as woods and spice, cedar being very prominent. Then you get the blast of fruit, floral, tonka bean and vanilla which make it overpoweringly sweet. Too loud and sweet for me - scrubber.
Does anyone know if the reviews below are for the EDP or the EDT? Both exist, which I didn't find until AFTER I'd ordered the EDT. Can anyone who's left a review for this one let me know which concentration they have, please? I'm happy to have scored this one at a reasonable price. To me it smells very similar to pre-reformulation Dune for the first, like, six hours, and then it becomes a lovely nod to pre-formulation Obsession. The sample I had didn't indicate its concentration, so I'm hoping like heck it was EDT. If it is, the performance is INCREDIBLE for an EDT. And if it isn't, I guess I'll be going back to Enchanté Perfumes for the EDP. :) Thanks in advance.
A BIG, YUMMY BLIND SWAP! This got me Krazy! When it dried down....hmmmmmmm.... warm spicy oriental, I also got some powdery, a hint of dry sweetness from flowers blended perfectly with civet note... I'm so swoon. Pure heaven
Krazy is one of those perfumes that remain in my memory very clear, and I can almost smell it again if I close my eyes and think of a certain friend who was wearing it as her signature circa 1992. I remember it being full on mandarin and amber, a strong zesty and loud fragrance, perhaps a bit too much for our 14 year old personalities back then but oh well... Especially the mandarin felt to me so mouthwatering and prominent back then, but I guess if I tried it again today I might feel differently...I do not see the resemblance to Obsession, but it definitely is a 90s powerhouse that could perhaps stand as well today if tweaked a little bit to bring it uptodate.
