Reviews

Lanvin's L'Homme Sport made quite an impression on me. Although I'm generally not a fan of "sport" fragrances, I made an exception when I spotted it at a great price and thought, why not? I'm really glad I went for it. It opens with a prominent lavender note, which happens to be one of my favorites, followed by a light citrus zing before drying down into a peppery, lavender base. This isn't a bold or overwhelming scent—it’s more of a subtle, grounding fragrance. If you're into trying something unique, I’d say give it a spray. It’s definitely worth adding to your collection if you appreciate fragrances that are as comforting as they are distinctive.

"This perfume is vile. It’s linear and basic, making me think of Mont Blanc Legend. Unfortunately, it lingers for hours. I’d expect more from Lanvin; they can definitely do better than this. The scent feels synthetic and cheap."

I thought Loq Performance Lemon Scent smelled nice and fresh. But my girlfriend pointed out that it had a whiff of cat litter. :D

"After trying it recently, I'm of the opinion that this version is an improvement over the original. The scent feels nicer overall, particularly with lemon and lavender notes that seem to perform better on my skin. However, I won't be purchasing another bottle. Scent: 6/10 | Sillage & Projection: 6/10 | Longevity: 5/10."

This scent has found this really nice balance, unlike the one it seems to have been crafted for—maybe something like the tennis pro? You know, like Rafael Nadal? He’s got this interesting contrast, where he used to have kind of a lopsided arm situation, but I think he’s evened things out a bit since then. As for Lanvin’s *Avant Garde*, that really blew my mind. But when it came to this sport fragrance, I wasn’t sure what to expect since I hadn’t tried the original *L’Homme*. Turns out, it’s really nice! The opening has this zesty lemon vibe, kind of like CK One. It’s sharp at first, but once that initial tang fades, it mixes in some fruit notes—though I’m not exactly sure which ones. Then there’s this musk and herb mixture, which feels perfectly balanced. Let it sit for a while and you’ll find it dries down into this stunning scent that gives any sport fragrance a run for its money in terms of freshness.
