Very interesting! I got my sample last week and tried it few times and I gave it a full day wear. Lalique known for creative sometimes unapologetic and known for niche quality perfumes, but now with White in Black they are playing it safe. (White in Black) is woody, less sweet and powdery version of PDM Layton. I think they are 95% similar with some differences. White in Black is softer and smoother. It last for 5-7 hours. Great release 🙂 I will give it 8.5/10 Edit: I can tell you this is Layton + Ambroxan. Almost by 90% identical to Layton, definitely softer and smoother, longevity 5-6 hours. That's it!
Think about Mugler Angel and smell this one, am I alone here? Haha
Had this almost a year now. Don’t wear it often because Detour Noir is closer to Layton and I can smell it on myself all day. This is absolutely a better quality juice though. I do personally go noseblind/anosmic to this almost immediately, but I have received compliments on it some 6-8 hours later, and I will get whiffs of it all day as I move around. 3 hours after putting it on I’ve filled my office—but have forgotten I’m even wearing it. Have woken up still smelling it. Not sure what will happen over time but don’t regret buying it. It’s smooth and different enough from Layton to be it’s own thing.
