Reviews

I first fell head over heels for this perfume when my friend wore it. When I finally bought a bottle, though, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me—it wasn’t anywhere near as intoxicating as what I smelled on her. Still, it’s great for summer, so I’ve gone through a bottle each summer anyway. Testing this version today was another letdown. It feels more marine-like, with a masculine vibe that reminded me of wet grass or mint. While it’s not unpleasant, it just doesn’t pack the same punch as the original. If you’re into a more tamed, unisex take, you might love it. Me? I’ll be sure to test it out on my BF and see how it goes!

When I passed through Macy's recently, I spotted that perfume again in the section. I tried it on, and to my delight, it seems like they've brought it back for the current summer. I’m really glad they decided to do that! The scent feels so fresh and aquatic—it just vibes with me. It’s definitely my style! 😊

"I can't get enough of this scent! My husband and I once went to the store, and I fell head over heels for this perfume. A week later, my husband surprised me by getting it for me. Since then, I've been wearing it daily. It's a limited edition, so I have to be careful not to use it up too quickly. Initially, it's citrusy and sweet, but as it dries down, it becomes floral, powdery, and sweet again. It lasts a good 8-9 hours on my skin!"

This is one of my absolute favorites! If they have a flanker, this is a good one—it's much more floral than the original, but I still really like it. It reminds me a lot of Cool Water Woman, which I also enjoy. It’s a lovely light fragrance that I prefer over heavier scents. As someone who loves fruity and floral perfumes, I particularly enjoy summer smells like Flower by Issey Miyake, Pleats Please Leau’ by Jeanne Lanvin, and Ralph Woman 3. Heavy perfumes that suffocate you aren’t for me—I prefer something light and airy. Overall, this one gets a solid 9/10!

I think this perfume captures what the original Light Blue should have been—zesty and citrusy, but softer, like the scent of fresh lemon juice rather than the rind. It’s much more approachable than the older version. There's also a powdery, floral element here that I usually don’t care for, but it works well in this perfume because there’s just enough sweetness to balance it out. It smells reminiscent of Italian lemon ice on a sunny spring day—bright and refreshing. The longevity is impressive too, with over six hours of wear and decent sillage. However, it’s not your casual everyday scent, so it might not be as universally appealing as other perfumes in its category like MJ Daisy or Dior Addict Florale. If you own those, this one isn’t necessarily better, but it’s a solid perfume in its own right if you appreciate its unique charm.
