Yes, I’ve tried this perfume now, and I can say it’s heavier than I anticipated. The milky rice blend really draws me in, reminds me of Kenzo's Amour. It doesn’t quite hit the same notes as Amour, but I can’t help feeling it’s a bit overwhelming with its sweetness—it feels almost outdated in its old-fashioned charm. The tonka adds a sharpness that sometimes gives me a migraine, though overall I still like it. Just wish it could be a bit more refined and not so in-your-face.
Not sure... but I'm really looking forward to it. Not a fan of the original Loverdose, but this version has me really excited.
The scent is exquisitely smooth, offering a round and fluffy quality that feels almost Cloud-like in its softness. It creates a soothing and uplifting atmosphere, wrapping you gently in comfort and warmth. This fragrance channels a milky, creamy vanilla rice pudding vibe, hugging your skin softly and lingering gracefully. The perfect match for such a scent would be a crisp white bottle, harmonizing beautifully with its essence.
I had mixed feelings about this perfume at first, testing it randomly in stores for six months before I finally decided to buy it. Initially, I couldn’t stand it—applying it would trigger my sinuses severely. I kept it around for a while until one crisp winter day, when I tried it again on clean skin. Wow, I was completely wrong! It turned out to be elegant and flirty all at once. I realized why I had hated it before; I’d only tried it during the scorching Dubai summer, where the heat and humidity probably skewed its true essence. The perfume’s magic seems to work best in cooler weather and on clean skin. On my own skin, it has a scent that’s reminiscent of marzipan mixed with white flowers—delicious! And I absolutely love that combination.
This is just what I’ve been looking for in a perfume. A warm, powdery, creamy vanilla gourmand scent that’s so tempting, you might just want to eat it!
