Lune Feline

One of the most impressive warm and spicy perfumes I've encountered recently is this particular scent! It has won me over as my top favorite alongside Commodity Milk, striking the ideal harmony between amber, vanilla, and cinnamon/spice. The fragrance is warm and woody without being overpowering, reminiscent of a soothing pot of chai tea with subtle musks and comforting green notes woven throughout, making it an excellent choice for fall/winter occasions.

Lune Feline boasts a unique blend of spicy vanilla, prominent cardamom, and subtle herbal notes, with hints of angelica that become more pronounced as the scent dries down. The aroma is surprisingly balanced, neither too heavy nor excessively sweet, with an animalic undertone that remains discreet and unobtrusive. While I find the fragrance to be delightful, it has a relatively soft sillage and moderate longevity on my skin, lasting around 5-6 hours before fading away. In comparison, I prefer Lune Feline over Byredo's Vanille Antique due to its more subtle green aspects, although I find By The Fireplace too smoky for my taste. Overall, I give Lune Feline a 7/10 scent rating and would consider purchasing it again in the future.

The first hour is unpleasantly overwhelming to my senses. My family and children recoiled from me while I wore it, but our canine companion surprisingly took a liking to the scent. Once this intense phase subsides, the fragrance transitions into a rich, resinous-sweet-ambery aroma that bears striking similarities to many perfumes often described as 'reminding one of'.

Got a smaller sample initially, wasn't impressed at first, but it slowly won me over. However, the performance in that 10 ml bottle was underwhelming, which led me to anticipate better results from the full bottle based on its reputation. Unfortunately, my expectations weren't met - it doesn't last long, lacks projection, and only impresses for an hour with a pleasant scent reminiscent of smoky woods by a fireplace (minus sweetness) and a burst of citrus (perhaps orange). As it settles, I'm left with a smoky, woody, non-sweet vanilla fragrance that leans towards the masculine side.

I was hesitant to give this perfume a try due to some mixed reviews here, but now I've come to understand that those who didn't enjoy it might have been misled by their own skin chemistry or expectations 😊. To me, Lune Feline lives up to its notes profile - no surprises! The aromatic cardamom and cinnamon add a nice spicy touch in the opening, while the rich vanilla is truly luxurious 🌟. The balsam adds depth and warmth to this scent, making it feel incredibly personal and cozy ❄️. Overall, I'm really impressed and would consider getting a full bottle at some point 💯. It's perfect for winter or any occasion, with moderate to good longevity 🔥.
