I truly enjoy the fragrance; its unique blend of tropical fruit and spicy notes is quite appealing. While its longevity and sillage are unfortunately lacking, it might be stronger in warmer weather. Despite my admiration for the fragrance, I’m unlikely to purchase it again due to its brief duration.
Got this blind buy today, and I'm really glad I took the chance. I love RISE, but I was a bit unsure because of all the mixed reviews and the notes. A lot of perfumes have appealing ingredients, but you never know if they'll translate well in the bottle. I usually prefer warm, spicy scents, so fruity or floral notes can sometimes turn me off. However, when Patch, oak moss, amber, sandalwood, or spices are involved, it might just balance those heavy fruits or florals for me. This purchase didn't disappoint—I'm definitely on the "like it very much" side! I tested it by spraying it on my ankle and wrist, then sat back to see how it developed over the evening. The blend of Plum and Patch is really nice, creating a lasting top scent with other notes fading in and out. It's all underneath a pleasant Plum/patch overlay, making this a pleasant surprise. Between RISE and this one, I'm tempted to try more of her scents—there are a few others that look intriguing. Plus, there's no chemical or cheapness here. Everyone's body chemistry is different, but this scent settles on me like a warm, moonlit night.
It seems like this perfume has the scent of someone who's not exactly young, and I was expecting something more refined.
Midnight Heat is an incredibly sexy fragrance! It exudes an exotic, sweet aroma with plum and pitahaya notes. The orchid perfectly balances the sweetness, preventing it from being overwhelming. Amber adds a creamy texture to the scent, making it feel smooth and luxurious. The subtle hints of violet, patchouli, and sandalwood are noticeable yet not overpowering. This perfume is best suited for evening wear.
I was really looking forward to trying this perfume since I’ve always been a fan of the original Heat. While there are plenty of sweet, fruity perfumes out there—and I love them all—it’s no surprise that those scents didn’t work for me. What stood out on me instead were the strong notes of patchouli and sandalwood, which I actually liked! However, I was a bit disappointed when my daughter, sitting right next to me, couldn’t smell anything on me 30 minutes after applying it. And by about an hour later, I barely noticed it myself either. Despite that, I still like the perfume enough to not give up on it. In fact, I’m planning to buy the body lotion and keep a small Travalo bottle in my handbag for regular touch-ups!
