Sweet transcendental wood. Milky Musk appears at first to play a simple tune but emerges as a sublime, dreamlike concerto. The genius of Michel Almairac in a most worthy and versatile signature fragrance.
This is very much woods dominant in the opening, blended with a smooth, powdery musk that sweetens over time. Comforting, easy to wear and lasts all day at work when spritzed lightly on clothes. This is simplicity done right.
Subtle, soft and warm. I love the way this smells on my skin - it has just a little sweetness and it makes the musk and sandalwood feel balanced. It's just too subtle for me, it disappears and really is just a skin scent almost immediately. But if you like a more subtle scent - especially in the heat or an office - this could be great for you. 7/10
Once again, on my skin the wood notes are more prominent than I anticipated. I was hoping for more of a mix with the musk or for the musk to be more of a central note. But it was definitely the sandalwood that came out most on my skin. Has good longevity and lasted about 6 hours on me. It’s not bad but leaning too unisex for my tastes. If you like scents like Glossier You, Santal 33, and even Another 13 this might be worth a sniff.
Basic. Bland. Can probably find the off-brand name equivalent on Amazon for much less. Hard pass.
