Immediately I sprayed on my arm, I said to myself, this smells like honey and also like JPG Scandal. So basically, Moon Glory is the niche version of designer Scandal.
People report on the honey a lot, but the fruity sweetness is kept in check by the basenotes. I know there’s no patchouli, incense, but the balsam, musk and hinoki wood create the most mystical and otherworldly profile I’ve ever smelled on a fragrance. It’s heavy but ethereal, effervescent and fantastical. Smells like eldritch magic, like Spritely elves from Tolkien’s myth.
To my nose, this is similar to Scandal or even Scandal by night (without the cherry) but a bit more smooth and refined. Because I smelled those first, it's hard for me to justify a FB of this at the retail price. I decluttered all my Scandals but I could see me adding this to my collection at the right price. This can become cloying if you overspray, especially if you're like me and your skin amplifies honey in fragrances. Hypnotizing Fire is still my favorite from this house but this is a nice fragrance nonetheless and I'm sure others would love it.
First love. Sweetness that doesn’t feel sweet. Lovely projection. I’ll be homeless after buying it but on the street I’ll be smelling awesome. Wish it was a little cheaper.
I love this Fragrance I think it’s just gorgeous! But you definitely need to like sweet scents. She’s sweet and sexy. I absolutely adore! Smells amazing! Gets a lot of compliments too. Lasts a long time on me and smells so sexy. I love the litchi and caramel scent here. Absolutely stunning! Definitely one of my new favorites
