The JTC collection has taken a significant leap forward with this fragrance, which is simply breathtaking! 🤩 Spectacular! Exceptional! The initial notes are an intriguing blend of dried fruit, creamy patchouli, and Labdanum, followed by the gradual emergence of rose - all while my senses remain on high alert, anticipating what's to come. This perfume boasts an exceptional Rose/Oud combination, elevated by subtle hints of patchouli, labdanum, frankincense, and myrrh. I've encountered similar fragrances before, but this one gets it just right. There's something about the opening that sets it apart from other notable perfumes, such as Armani Rose d'Arabie - a fragrance with which it shares some similarities. The rose in this scent is both robust and understated, allowing oud and resin to take center stage for me. Xerjoff has crafted a truly outstanding (if not entirely innovative) perfume here, and it's about time, as I was still undecided about the brand after trying several of their fragrances.
This Rose/Oud combination fragrance stands out as one of my absolute favorites. Its impressive longevity means that a small amount is all it takes to make an impact.
Take another sniff at this one, and then compare it to Creed Viking - they're essentially identical in terms of their base notes, with Viking featuring an amplified mint note. It's impressive how Creed managed to reimagine a fan favorite while still maintaining its core essence.
The scent is remarkably similar to Spirit of Dubai, which I'm familiar with. I'll need to double-check the notes when I return home, but it's possible that this perfume combines elements of Taurath and/or Diwan - an intriguing blend indeed!
This fragrance possesses an interesting woody grape soda character that resonates with its Xerjoff DNA, reminiscent of Alexandria II and Naxos. However, it lacks refinement, coming across as more brash and attempting to emulate the scent of old money but ultimately falling short. Furthermore, I find it to be a bit sharp and headache-inducing on my skin, whereas I've typically enjoyed its gender-neutral quality in other perfumes.
