This scent can evoke two distinct personas depending on how it is worn: a refined, sophisticated individual reminiscent of a luxurious retirement community, or a poised and professional woman, stylishly dressed in a crisp business outfit, hurrying to her next appointment in the midst of a bustling urban morning commute.
The notes listed by the company only provide a glimpse into what they want to highlight, with the full Aventus DNA notes left unmentioned. It seems customers are clever enough to recognize this omission. Upon smelling it today, I was struck by another familiar scent - an uncanny copy of Aventus. While some new notes were added, the effect was subtle, with only a hint of leather. The core of the fragrance remains unmistakably Aventus-inspired. For comparison, I've recently smelled the new batch of Aventus, which I prefer due to its darker and less sweet tone. M.C's scent is indeed smoky and dry, courtesy of the Tuscon leather note. Given that it's a copycat, I'll give it 6/10.
I fail to detect any significant green notes in this fragrance. Instead, it strikes me as a standard musky scent with a subtle hint of pineapple. Unfortunately, the overall impression is one of affordability rather than luxury.
This perfume evokes the scent of nostalgia in me, transporting me back to memories of my grandfather and his companion, who both wore distinctive fragrances that didn't quite appeal to me at the time. Yet, this perfume perfectly captures their essence, reminiscent of the leather-bound cars they drove and the special outings we shared as a family. While it's not a scent I'd personally wear, it brings back fond memories that make me smile.
Just outstanding! This perfume is a masterclass in showcasing bergamot, galbanum, leather, and smoke. The dry down boasts a rich, warm darkness that I'm thoroughly enamored with. While it shares some similarities with Vespero, this one stands out for me due to its increased greenness, density, and smokiness. I'm also detecting subtle notes of petitgrain and moss, which add to the overall sense of depth. Longevity is exceptional, making this a true delight for those who adore dark fragrances - it's a real stunner! 🔥
