After some testing, I can confirm that Moschino's Funny! shares similarities with its sibling fragrance I Love Love, both boasting citric-based and refreshing qualities. While I Love Love is playful and whimsical, Funny! takes a more mature and dry approach, featuring a bitter orange note reminiscent of an "eau de cologne", giving it a timeless and subtle vibe compared to its carefree sister.
It evokes memories of the iconic Hermes Jardin sur le Toit, which holds a special place in my heart. While this perfume may not quite match the grandeur of its Hermès counterpart, it still boasts impressive longevity and exudes a refined charm. In my opinion, this fragrance is quintessentially summer-inspired, with an uplifting quality that's hard to resist.
Green tea and lemonade harmonize to form a rich, musky floral bouquet that evolves over time. The subtle sweetness of jasmine and violet adds a playful touch to a woody foundation that strikes the perfect balance between sweet and sour. This fragrance effortlessly captures my attention with its clever combination of seriousness and playfulness.
The perfume emits a potent aroma reminiscent of bitter oranges, which then transitions into a sweet skin scent within a remarkably short span of two hours. I found myself particularly fond of wearing this fragrance on warm to extremely hot days. However, the scent's fleeting nature proved to be a drawback, as it required frequent reapplication and ultimately led me to reconsider repurchasing the perfume. Instead, I plan to explore alternative options like I Love Love if I come across a favorable deal.
A pleasant yet straightforward fragrance... all I detect are citrus notes of orange and lemon zest at first. As the initial burst dissipates, the green tea and subtle cedar emerge, forming a harmonious blend. Despite its uplifting quality, courtesy of the citruses, I find myself needing to apply this perfume liberally to achieve the desired trail and longevity. Nevertheless, it's often in my bag for quick spritzes.
