This is my final verdict on JHAG, having tried four samples from the discovery set. Initially, I was enchanted by the heavenly combination of lime and ginger at the opening, but unfortunately, this excitement was short-lived - within two minutes, the scent vanished, leaving nothing but air. Even 10 minutes later, there was still no discernible fragrance. If it's worth zero dollars to have a scent that doesn't exist, then I'm happy to take it off your hands.
A radiant citrus-ginger aura that flashes briefly on the senses.
I failed to detect any similarities with Light Blue. The citrus note is extremely subtle, which suits me just fine. On the other hand, I was struck by a strong musk presence that bears some resemblance to Iso E Super, quite a sexy and clean musky accord. Additionally, I perceived a noticeable amount of Ambroxan and Iso E Super. While this fragrance does have a fresher quality than typical musky scents, I didn't experience ginger or citrus in the dry down as others have described.
I'm genuinely appalled by this scent. To me, it has a pungent aroma reminiscent of a poorly cleaned restroom, which is quite unsettling on my skin. It's unusual for me to intensely dislike a fragrance, but I must confess that I detest this particular one. In fact, I purchased the discovery set hoping to find something I'd enjoy, but unfortunately, I was disappointed by all of them.
Light Blue falls short for me, with a lackluster performance in terms of duration. I'll be returning this scent without hesitation. That's the gist of my thoughts on this one.
