I haven't experienced Tuxedo yet, but this definitely bears resemblance to CH Prive, particularly during the dry down. This is a perfect evening date scent, suitable for colder climates. While its projection isn't overpowering, it still offers moderate sillage and longevity at an affordable price point. I paid 38 euros for this and find it more than meets my expectations, so I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
😐 This perfume has a lovely aroma, however, its staying power leaves much to be desired.
I think I've received a vintage edition as this fragrance is lingering much longer than its typical 30-minute duration... and I'm enjoying it! 😊
Among the perfumes I consider outstanding regardless of price, Moustache EDP would certainly be included. It's astonishing to me that I was able to acquire it at such a low cost from an online retailer given its exceptional quality. This fragrance is masterfully crafted by a skilled perfumer. I own several fragrances within the same genre as Moustache EDP, including YSL Tuxedo. While Moustache shares similarities with Tuxedo in terms of its scent profile, I find it to be more adaptable and versatile. As we enter Spring and enjoy sunny days, Moustache is a fragrance that can be worn year-round, whereas YSL Tuxedo tends to sit idly by during the warmer months. Its lighter notes make it suitable for Spring wear. If you're in the market for a sophisticated, alluring fragrance, I would highly recommend Moustache EDP. In fact, if you're looking for an affordable option that rivals its pricier counterparts, look no further than Moustache - its exceptional quality and aroma justify the low price tag in my opinion.
Ok I believe I've discovered why many people claim this perfume has no scent, as it reminds me of a similar experience where I purchased the authentic 1949 Moustache in a nearly identical bottle and packaging, unlike the hyped Tuxedo Clone. The original to me is reminiscent of four jelly beans left in alcohol overnight with little else to speak of, which is truly unimpressive.
