I blind bought it and it smells exactly like the brown water you have after flowers sit in it for too long. It smells very green and rotten. I will wait a month or so (as people recommend) and update my review, but for now... gross! Doesn't smell like santal complet (which I love) or gris charnel at all!
I just got this in the mail. Maybe I got an old batch but it smells strong right from the start. Although the scent is linear, it is well blended. I get the bergamot, citruses, coconut, and sandalwood the most. I think this will be even stronger once it sits for a couple of months. To me, I wouldn't say it's spicy (nothing like Khamrah) but then again I have a high threshold for spicy scents and food. It is one of my favorite blind buys yet!!
After sitting for a few months, Musamam White becomes a rich, sweet coconut and sandalwood prominent perfume. Very nicely done. It is what I would imagine that the original Versace Crystal Noir would become if you added some sweetness and body. Very long lasting. Not particularly unique but, still a nice perfume.
Blind bought..To me it doesn't smell like Versace crystal noir, however there is some resemblance, the coconut and sandalwood notes are the same, fresh and comforting. This coconut doesn't smell cheap. Well put together. Honestly, i expected sweet, intoxicating evening/night fragrance by looking at the bottle, however i would consider it daytime/office fragrance. Smells expensive. Not sure if it's a safe blind buy for vanilla/sweet fragrance lovers as it's not what you would expect.
I don't know how to feel about this scent... first of all, it transformed alot in the first 10 min, in the opening you get citruses (1 min tops) then the mid you get the florals and after 10 mins of wear it feels like a floral sweeter version of santal complet with that indistinguishable sandalwood and coconut that is so prominent in santal complet. So I get the appeal. But at face value, it feels like a mass appealing DNA that is not special at all... I guess for the price is not bad at all but I also wouldn't be reaching for it over other perfumes in my collection. The floral ambroxan combo feel a little synthetic and abstract. It is airy and not very loud but almost as if you can easily become anosmic to it. I will keep testing and see what changes with time...
