I am currently experiencing this perfume firsthand and thoroughly enjoying its subtle sweetness, which is neither overwhelming nor fleeting - in fact, it has convinced me to contemplate making a repeat purchase.
I'm not personally fond of gourmands myself, but I often purchase them as gifts for my female relatives or young family members who appreciate this type of fragrance. When it comes to celebrity perfumes, Naomi Campbell's line stands out in terms of quality, longevity, and value for money. Her signature scent is a relatively unique gourmand, as it doesn't evoke memories of popular sweet fragrances like Angel or LVEB. In my opinion, the dominant note here is caramel-toffee, but it also has a distinct coffee flavor, reminiscent of cappuccino. The blend also includes vanilla and tonka beans, while the fruity notes are almost imperceptible, which I find to be a definite plus. If you're in the mood for sweet treats like toffees and cappuccino, I recommend giving this perfume a try - it won't disappoint! Its projection is moderate, and its longevity exceeds expectations, lasting around six hours.
This perfume exudes sensuality and allure, boasting bold and provocative qualities that are simply intoxicating. It's as if liquid seduction is contained within its bottle. While I appreciate the bitter notes, they're not entirely to my liking. After rekindling my interest in this scent, I ultimately decided against revisiting it due to the uncanny similarities I've discovered with Flowerbomb. Nevertheless, I commend the price point - it feels premium and boasts a deep, luxurious base that's truly impressive.
My thoughts on this perfume are akin to Jillmcshaw1's, with its noticeable musk and almost salty caramel notes that deviate from the typical sweet caramel and vanilla scents I expected. Not for the faint of heart, it's essential to try Naomi Campbell before committing to a purchase. Despite my initial blind buy, I've been stuck with it for some time now, often using it before bed due to its warm, cozy quality.
I'm surprised it doesn't elicit more enthusiasm! 😊 This scent exudes a luxurious aura, far beyond what I expected from a celebrity fragrance. If I hadn't known the brand, I wouldn't have guessed it's one of their scents. Unlike some other celebrity perfumes, this one isn't overly sweet like Britney and Paris' fragrances; instead, it has a subtle sweetness to it. The scent reminds me of high-end body lotion, but stronger - with a peppery, sugary vibe. It starts off with a bold, citrusy-sweet opening before mellowing out into a lovely, balmy sweet pink pepper note. On my skin, I also detect a yellow floral and prominent tonka bean during the first hour after application. What impresses me most is its staying power, which rivals some of my pricier perfumes. I'll definitely need to repurchase this when my purse-sized bottle runs out. While it works well as both day and evening scent, I'd prefer something darker for fall and winter - although many women might find it too heavy for spring/summer. Fortunately, there's no coconut for me!
