I'm not particularly fond of Paco Rabanne's perfumes, but Olympea Legend has won me over from the very first sniff. When I crave a fragrance that embodies a powdery vanilla cloud, this one hits the spot with its excellent sillage and longevity. Nonetheless, it becomes overwhelming for even my tastes on extremely hot summer days.
🍯 This perfume is incredibly unique - I've never smelled anything like it! It's a warm, inviting gourmand with a prominent plum note and a sticky, slightly salted vanilla that reminds me of salted caramel. Soft florals add depth in the background, while the tonka note in the base gives it a sexy edge. The scent opens boozy but quickly settles into a creamy, rich sweetness. Unlike other flankers, this one stands out from the crowd! 🤔 I don't understand why some people hate it - yes, it's sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. Just use restraint when spraying and you'll be fine. If you're sensitive to sweet fragrances or hate strong scents, maybe this isn't for you. But for me? It's a 10/10! 😍
You can skip the overpriced fragrance and invest in the Zara Rich Warm Addictive (2018 formula) for a similar scent experience.
I inadvertently paired this with the new mango fragrance, Pannaco Tahaa perfume, and the result is incredible. While I adore Olympea Legend on its own - it's incredibly warm and sensual, with notes of red wine and vanilla that are truly sublime. In contrast, I'm not a fan of the original Olympea; to me, it's unclear and masculine, lacking the allure of this flanker. The performance is outstanding, earning a 20/10 from me! 🌟
This perfume initially impressed me, earning a perfect score upon initial application. I was thrilled and promptly applied it to my skin. Unfortunately, this is the first fragrance that has lost its appeal over time, leaving me disappointed. As it dries down, it develops an unpleasant combination of notes reminiscent of stale wine and cat urine, although it still retains a pleasant aroma on the scent card😩😩
